One-On-One Licensed Practical Nurse - Cherokee County, GA (#R10274)
Location: Cherokee County, Georgia
Employment Type: Contract / School-Based
Hourly Rate: $25 - $38 per hour (based on experience)
Position Overview:
The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) provides one-to-one nursing care to assigned students under the direction of a Registered Nurse and/or physician, supporting the student's health needs to enable safe access to educational services.

Qualifications:
Job qualifications & certifications:
- Current, unencumbered Georgia Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license
- Current CPR certification
- Pediatric or school-based experience preferred
- Spanish-English bilingual candidates are strongly encouraged to apply
Skills:
- Strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy
- Effective communication with supervising nurses and school staff
- Ability to follow care plans and clinical protocols
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct one-to-one nursing care to assigned students.
- Assist with health monitoring, treatments, and medication administration.
- Observe and document student condition and report changes to the supervising RN.
- Support implementation of individualized healthcare plans.
- Maintain accurate and confidential medical documentation.
- Comply with FERPA, HIPAA, and CCSD confidentiality standards.
- Follow district, school, and agency policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with school staff and special education teams.
