Community Hematologist/Medical Oncologist The OHSU Knight Cancer Institute is a global leader in cancer research, precision oncology, and patient-centered cancer care. We are seeking outstanding Hematologist/Medical Oncologists to join our growing Community Hematology Oncology (CHO) program. Physicians will practice in community-based clinics throughout the Portland metropolitan region while benefiting from the resources, innovation, and collaboration of an NCI-designated Comprehensive Cancer Center and academic health system. Position Highlights Practice in a thriving community oncology setting with the support of an internationally recognized cancer center. Deliver comprehensive hematology and oncology care in multidisciplinary environments. Collaborate closely with disease‑specific experts and subspecialists across the OHSU Knight Cancer Institute. Provide patients access to innovative clinical trials and cutting‑edge therapies. Opportunities for teaching, mentoring, clinical research, and academic advancement. Participate in the education of medical students, residents, and fellows, if desired. Leadership opportunities available for qualified candidates. Responsibilities Provide outpatient hematology and medical oncology care in community clinic settings. Participate in inpatient and consultative services as assigned. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure exceptional patient‑centered care. Support OHSU's missions of clinical excellence, education, research, outreach, and public service. Engage in quality improvement, program development, and institutional initiatives. Ensure patients have access to appropriate clinical trial opportunities. Qualifications MD, DO, MD/PhD, MBBS, or equivalent medical degree. Board Certified or Board Eligible in Medical Oncology and/or Hematology. Eligibility for medical licensure in the State of Oregon. Commitment to delivering outstanding cancer care in a community‑based practice environment. Preferred: Experience practicing in community oncology settings. Preferred: Demonstrated leadership, program development, or quality improvement experience. Preferred: Interest in clinical research, teaching, and academic collaboration.
