Sr. Analyst, Application Development

Position Summary Aetna Resources LLC, a CVS Health company, is hiring for the following role in Woonsocket, RI: Sr. Analyst, Application Development to design and develop enterprise software applications and platforms. Responsibilities Develop software solutions to meet business requirements and manage project execution to ensure adherence to schedule and scope. Determine feasibility of solution designs and prepare technical design documentation. Plan stages of application development to improve functionality and features with a focus on performance, reliability, and maintainability. Write and review high‑quality code and perform unit and/or automation testing. Coordinate with project personnel to identify and resolve problems. Monitor progress milestones and deliverables. Support applications, systems, and databases used to process prescriptions, claims, and related healthcare activities. Collaborate with cross‑functional teams on application development, technical requirements, code review, project deliverables, quality assurance, and software development best practices. Mentor junior team members. Telecommuting available; multiple positions. Qualifications Master’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Electronics Engineering, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field. Two (2) years of experience in the job offered or a related occupation. Two (2) years of experience with each of the following: Develop, design and update backend system using C#, Asp.Net, MVC, Ado.Net and SQL Server database to process information. Use Asp.Net Web API to design and update RESTful features. Implement SOAP services. Develop desktop and web applications using WinForms, WebForms and MVC. Use XML and JSON formats in services for data access and manipulation. Use Kendo UI, Infragistics and DevExpress to develop and update various search criteria and filters on the front end. Use NUnit and integration testing in development environments. Compensation Pay Range: $109,512.00/year to $166,860.00/year. The actual base salary will depend on experience, education, geography and other factors. Eligible for a bonus, commission or short‑term incentive program in addition to the base pay. Also eligible for an equity award program.
