About the Role:

Mike's Ridge Terrace Pub & Grill in Webster, NY is looking for a passionate and experienced Kitchen Manager to lead our back-of-house operations. If you thrive in a fast-paced kitchen environment and take pride in delivering quality food with a great team, we want to hear from you!

Responsibilities:

Oversee all daily kitchen operations, including cooking, food prep, and service execution

Manage, train, and schedule kitchen staff to ensure smooth and efficient service

Maintain food quality, consistency, and presentation standards across all menu items

Monitor and control food costs, inventory, and ordering to minimize waste

Ensure full compliance with food safety, sanitation, and health code regulations

Collaborate with ownership on menu development and seasonal specials

Conduct line checks and ensure proper equipment maintenance and cleanliness

Requirements:

2+ years of kitchen management or sous chef experience in a restaurant or pub environment

Strong knowledge of food safety standards and ServSafe certification (or ability to obtain)

Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop a kitchen team

Experience with inventory management, food costing, and ordering

Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed

Excellent communication and organizational skills

Passion for scratch cooking and delivering a consistent, high-quality dining experience
