Doma Cafe is a high-volume neighborhood café in Chicago serving breakfast, brunch, lunch, coffee, and house-made pastries. We are looking for a dependable, organized, and hardworking Full-Time Line Cook to join our kitchen team.
This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, takes pride in consistency and cleanliness, and wants to be part of a professional, team-oriented kitchen. Hours are 7:30am-2:30pm.
Schedule- Full-time
- Approximately 35–40 hours per week
- Availability on Saturday and Sunday is required
- Early morning and daytime shifts
- Prepare and execute breakfast and lunch menu items
- Maintain quality, consistency, and presentation standards
- Set up and break down station daily
- Follow recipes and kitchen procedures
- Assist with prep work and stocking
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary workspace
- Work efficiently during busy service periods
- Communicate effectively with kitchen and front-of-house teams
- Previous line cook experience preferred
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and organization
- Reliable attendance and punctuality
- Positive attitude and team-first mindset
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
- Food handler certification preferred (or willingness to obtain)

Cocinero de Línea Tiempo Completo – Doma CafeDoma Cafe es una cafetería de alto volumen en Chicago que sirve desayuno, brunch, almuerzo, café y repostería artesanal. Estamos buscando un(a) Cocinero(a) de Línea de Tiempo Completo responsable, organizado(a) y trabajador(a) para unirse a nuestro equipo de cocina.
Esta posición es ideal para alguien que disfruta trabajar en un ambiente dinámico, se enorgullece de la consistencia y la limpieza, y desea formar parte de una cocina profesional y orientada al trabajo en equipo.
Horario- Tiempo completo
- Aproximadamente 35–40 horas por semana
- Disponibilidad los sábados y domingos es obligatoria
- Turnos de mañana y durante el día
- Preparar y ejecutar los platillos del menú de desayuno y almuerzo
- Mantener los estándares de calidad, consistencia y presentación
- Montar y desmontar su estación de trabajo diariamente
- Seguir recetas y procedimientos de cocina
- Ayudar con la preparación y organización de ingredientes
- Mantener un área de trabajo limpia, organizada y sanitaria
- Trabajar eficientemente durante períodos de alto volumen
- Comunicarse eficazmente con el equipo de cocina y de servicio
- Experiencia previa como cocinero(a) de línea preferida
- Capacidad para trabajar en un ambiente de ritmo rápido
- Gran atención al detalle y organización
- Puntualidad y asistencia confiable
- Actitud positiva y mentalidad de trabajo en equipo
- Capacidad para permanecer de pie durante períodos prolongados y levantar hasta 50 libras
- Certificación de manipulador de alimentos preferida (o disposición para obtenerla)
