Worker Type Employee Compensation Starting wage $18.96/hr; after 90‑day certification $19.90/hr. Tips average $5.00–$7.00/hr. Union: IBEW Local 1220; membership required after probation. Job Responsibilities Adhere to company policies, safety standards, and operational protocols. Suggest improvements to operations. Prepare and serve beverages to meet freshness and quality standards. Maintain coffee knowledge to educate guests. Engage guests in a hospitable, sincere, and friendly manner. Work a typical shift of 7 hours, average 25–30 hours per week. Qualifications High school diploma or GED preferred. Proficient spoken and written English. Dependable with good attendance and punctuality. Effective communication skills. Ability to learn and master coffee tasting profiles and dial‑ins. Strong teamwork and multi‑tasking skills. Ability to work in a high‑volume environment. Weekend availability. Physical Demands Regularly see, talk, and hear. Stand, walk, and sit continually; stoop, kneel, or crouch occasionally. Use hands to reach, carry, hold items, or use a tablet/register. Occasional lifting or moving up to 50 pounds. Work Environment Retail store setting with moderate noise levels.
