What you'll do:

SUMMARY:
This position will support day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, reconciliations, and general ledger activities. Previous experience with Accounts Payable and/or Accounts Receivable is preferred, but we are willing to train the right candidate.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
*Process and maintain accounts payable invoices and payments.
*Assist with accounts receivable, including customer invoicing, cash applications, and account follow-up.
*Perform account and bank reconciliations and investigate discrepancies.
*Assist with general ledger entries and month-end closing activities.
*Review accounting records for accuracy and completeness.
*Research and resolve discrepancies related to invoices, payments, and customer or vendor accounts.
*Assist with maintaining accurate vendor and customer records.
*Prepare routine accounting reports and supporting schedules.
*Assist with audits and other accounting projects as needed.
*Maintain organized documentation and comply with company accounting policies and procedures.
*Provide support to the accounting team and other departments as needed.

What you need to be successful:

QUALIFICATIONS:
*Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field preferred.
*0-2 years of accounting experience; internship or related experience is a plus.
*Previous experience in Accounts Payable and/or Accounts Receivable preferred.
*Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
*Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial statements.
*Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office.
*Strong organizational and time-management skills.
*Ability to analyze information, identify discrepancies, and resolve issues.
*Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
*Ability to work independently while also being an effective team member.
