Join the Dynamic Team as a Registered Nurse - Intermediate Care!

Job Description:

- Start Date: November 30
- Unit: Intermediate Care Unit (IMCU)
- Shifts: 6:30 AM - 7:00 PM
- Floating Required: Yes
- Scrub Color: Navy Blue
- Patient Demographics: 18 years and adults
- Number of Beds: 64 beds, including 15 designated Neuro beds

Key Responsibilities and Opportunities:

- Work with diverse patient populations and common diagnoses, including:
- Neuro, Cardiac, Trauma, and Respiratory conditions: COPD, DKA, Sepsis, MI, CV stepdown, and post-operative care
- Utilize specialty equipment, such as:
- Temporary pacemakers, Chest tubes, Arterial lines, Bipap, and Neptune Vapo
- Manage chronic ventilator patients with assistance from Respiratory Therapy
- Collaborate effectively within a high-energy team environment

Submission Requirements:

- Up-to-date resume showcasing:
- 2+ years of experience in IMCU/PCU
- Travel experience
- Skills Checklist matching specialty
- Driver's license with address matching demographics
- Current AHA certifications:
- BLS, ACLS, NIHSS
- NURSYS Report for active NY License and all RN licenses
- RTO (Request Time Off) must be included at submission time
- EMR Experience Required: EPIC
