This company offers room to grow learning tasks in fabrication in addition to new welding techniques. If interested, candidates will have to complete a weld test. Please apply with updated work history.Welder Responsibilities Include But Are Not Limited To:Apply appropriate welding process to materials and repair welds on parts per specificationsPerform as a team member which requires you to cross-train on other departmentsPerform safety checks and preventative maintenance on welding equipment and completed productsWeld various metals such as stainless steel and galvanizedRead and understand tape measures, various gauges, work orders, charts, and safety regulationsKnowledge and skills with multiple welding processes (Fuel Gas, Gas Metal Arc, Gas Tungsten Arc)Welder Requirements:Able to read, write, and communicate effectivelyAble to stand, walk, and sit for extended amounts of timeAble to bend, stoop, kneel as neededAble to read and interpret blueprintsHigh level of attention to detail and organizedStrong interpersonal skills, including the ability to communicate with customers, coworkers, and leadersStrong written and verbal communication skillsMust be proficient with computers, including handheld scannersFunction with a team, take direction, and have a positive attitude
