Project Control Specialist

Providing project control and financial analysis support, the remote Project Control Specialist will manage budgets, perform performance analysis, and ensure accurate tracking of project costs across multiple locations including Colorado Springs, Dayton, Huntsville, and Alexandria. Key responsibilities Prepare and coordinate financial budgets, forecasts, and capital allocation reports while monitoring funding and expenditures Conduct financial planning and profitability analysis, ensuring detailed oversight of project costs including labor and travel Interface with Finance, Accounting, and Contracts teams to address project-related financial issues and support time management reconciliation Required qualifications Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related discipline 4-7 years of experience in Project Control, FP&A, Accounting, or a related field Experience in government contracting Familiarity with financial management tools such as Deltek CostPoint or Workday Adaptive Planning Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel Virtual Vocations Inc
