About the Role
Lone Star Facility Management LLC, a Texas-based provider of residential and commercial property maintenance and repair services, is expanding into Ohio. We are seeking skilled and reliable Independent Handymen (1099) to join our growing team.
As a self-employed contractor, you will:
- Deliver high-quality repair, maintenance, and installation services for both residential and commercial properties.
- Operate independently using your own tools and vehicle.
- Manage your schedule via company-provided software.
- Travel locally within the state to job sites.
- Maintain proactive, professional communication with clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform general repairs, maintenance, and installations, including:
- Carpentry
- Plumbing (basic)
- Electrical (basic)
- Flooring
- Painting
- Drywall
- Minor structural fixes
- Prepare accurate service estimates for repair and replacement projects.
- Independently manage scheduling and timelines using company software.
- Maintain and organize personal tools and equipment.
- Interact professionally with customers to assess needs and provide effective solutions.
- Travel locally within Ohio using a personal vehicle.
- Demonstrate strong time management and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in general handyman services or multi-trade maintenance (freshers encouraged to apply)
- Valid driver’s license with reliable transportation
- Proficiency in a wide range of home repair and maintenance skills
- Excellent customer service and communication abilities
- Strong time management and a quality-focused work ethic
- Effective problem-solving capabilities
