About the Role
The Company is seeking a Chief of Staff to join its dynamic team. This senior leadership role is pivotal in supporting the CEO and the executive team in driving the organization's strategic initiatives and ensuring effective decision-making. The successful candidate will be a trusted advisor, strategic partner, and a key player in fostering collaboration and alignment across the enterprise. Key responsibilities include serving as a thought partner to the CEO, leading cross-functional projects, and supporting governance-related activities. The Chief of Staff will also be instrumental in change management, and organizational effectiveness, and will play a critical role in enhancing the company's communication and operational coordination. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree (advanced degree preferred) and a minimum of 10-15 years' of progressive leadership experience, with a proven track record in a similar senior role. They should possess exceptional communication skills, the ability to manage sensitive matters with discretion, and a strong background in strategic planning and change management. Experience in mission-driven organizations, including nonprofit, public media, or related sectors, is highly valued. The role requires a leader with high emotional intelligence, political and organizational savvy, and the ability to influence and build relationships across diverse stakeholder groups. The Chief of Staff will be expected to support fundraising initiatives and must demonstrate a deep commitment to the mission and values of the organization.
