Exciting contract opportunity available for speech-language professionals seeking a dynamic school setting near Spring Valley, CA. Dedicated to supporting high school students, this role offers both full-time and part-time schedules—with 37.5 hours per week and flexibility to accommodate part-time applicants. Clinical Fellows are enthusiastically welcomed, providing a fantastic environment to start or advance your career. SLPA support will also be provided for collaborative care.
Ideal applicants bring experience working with high school caseloads and a passion for empowering youth to reach their communication goals. Whether you’re looking to engage directly in therapy, support students virtually, or you’re completing your clinical fellowship, this position offers a variety of growth opportunities.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology (for SLP roles)
- Active California SLP or SLPA license (or eligibility for licensure)
- SLP-CCC, SLP-CFY, or SLPA credentials accepted
- Experience or interest in pediatric and high school populations
- Comfortable with school-based or teletherapy service models
- Strong communication, organization, and collaborative skills
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide assessment, diagnosis, and evidence-based intervention for students in a high school setting
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Document and monitor student progress toward measurable outcomes
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, families, and teachers
- Offer support and mentorship for Clinical Fellows as needed
- Participate in virtual therapy sessions when applicable
- Access and utilize SLPA support for caseload management
