The Part-Time Controller (15-20 hours a month) is responsible for overseeing the financial operations of the RV Resort. This position provides accurate, timely financial information to management and the Board of Directors, supporting sound financial, operational and personnel decisons.
*Accounting, Finance, experience preferably in a resort, campground, hospitality, nonprofit or membership-based organization.
*Strong knowledge of accounting, financial reporting, budgeting, and payroll.
*Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including spreadsheets, formulas, reporting, and financial analysis.
*Experience with ADP payroll and related payroll functions.
*Knowledge and experience with Point-of-Sale systems, including daily sales, reporting, payment reconciliation, deposits, and transactionn processing.
*Experience with accounting software and the ability to learn and manage resort-specific financial and operational systems.
*Excellent organizational, analytical, communication and interpersonal skills.
*Ability to work independently while maintaining confidentiality, professionalism, and objectivity.
*Ability to communicate financial and operational matters clearly to the Board of Directors, management and employees.
