As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a retail location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and assist customers, employees, and visitors with professionalism. You will observe and report activity, respond to incidents, and communicate clearly while supporting a welcoming environment. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $17.00 / Hour Job Schedule: Mon: 10:00 AM - 05:00 PM Thur: 05:00 PM - 11:00 PM What You’ll Do: Provide customer service to clients, shoppers, and store associates by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities. Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to site-specific procedures. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the retail location, including sales areas, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter, to help to deter unauthorized activity. Observe and report suspicious activity, policy violations, hazards, and maintenance concerns to appropriate personnel. Monitor access points and support security-related procedures for deliveries, vendors, employees, and visitors as directed. Minimum Requirements: Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
