Registered Nurse, TelemetryARMStaffing is looking for a Registered Nurse, Telemetry (Rotating Nights & Days) in Latrobe, Pennsylvania.Location: Latrobe, PAAssignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.Schedule/Shift: This position requires 3x12 hour shifts, with rotating nights and days.Job Description: The Registered Nurse in the Telemetry unit will provide specialized care for patients with cardiothoracic conditions and telemetry monitoring requirements. The nurse will manage various procedures and protocols, including but not limited to, administering blood products, managing central lines and chest tubes, and utilizing telemetry for patient monitoring.ResponsibilitiesAdminister medications and IV therapy as prescribed.Monitor and interpret telemetry readings to assess patients' cardiac status.Provide care to patients with chest tubes and manage the associated equipment.Perform patient assessments and document findings accurately using Cerner.Coordinate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.Educate patients and families regarding diagnoses and treatment plans.Required ExperienceMinimum of 1 year of nursing experience required.Experience in a telemetry unit preferred.Charge experience is advantageous.Certifications/LicensureCurrent BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required.Active Pennsylvania RN license or a compact license required at submission.About ARMStaffing: Founded in 2011 and a member of the ARGroup, LLC, ARMStaffing connects dedicated nurses and allied health professionals with the facilities that need them most.
