Certified Medical Assistant – MedicalSchedule: Shift: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM Days: Monday - FridayAssignment Details: Contract Length: 13 weeks Guaranteed Hours: 40.00Requirements: High School Education/GED or equivalent: Required Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) or equivalent combination of licensure and experience: Preferred Basic Life Support (BLS) Health Care Provider certification: Required Successful completion of audiometry and vision training or certificate from CHDP within six months of hire: Preferred Phlebotomy certificate: PreferredRoles & Responsibilities: Set up exam rooms and check in patients. Maintain a patient recall system, including continuity of care log for lab tests, referrals, and transfers. Obtain and record vital signs. Report significant findings and pertinent patient observations to the supervising healthcare provider. Perform venipunctures as ordered. Conduct audiometry and vision testing. Perform other job-related duties as assigned.Compliance / Notes: All associates are required to receive all required vaccinations as a condition of employment and annually thereafter, where applicable.
