Certified Medical Assistant

Job Summary A Certified Medical Assistant opportunity is available in Templeton, CA for a contract/temporary assignment in a patient-focused clinical setting. This role is ideal for a CMA or RMA with hands-on ambulatory care experience, strong EPIC skills, and a commitment to providing organized, compassionate support to patients and providers. The Certified Medical Assistant will work closely with licensed physicians and advanced practice providers to support daily clinic operations, patient intake, routine testing, and continuity of care. Key Responsibilities Set up exam rooms, check in patients, and support efficient clinic workflow throughout the day. Obtain and document vital signs, reporting significant findings and patient observations to the provider. Maintain patient recall systems, including continuity of care logs for lab tests, referrals, and transfers. Perform venipunctures as ordered and support routine clinical testing needs. Conduct audiometry and vision testing according to clinic procedures. Perform non-invasive technical support services under the authorization and supervision of licensed clinical staff. Compensation and Benefits Pay Rate: $28.50 per hour. Schedule: Day shift, 5 x 8-hour shifts, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Assignment Type: Contract/Temporary.
