Litigation Associate

A law firm seeks a litigator with 4-6 years of experience to join a dynamic team in Miami, Florida. This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney with litigation experience who has an interest in working on complex insurance and commercial disputes. The practice represents insurers in high-stakes disputes, litigating coverage issues and defending insurers in bad faith disputes and insurance class actions. Duties Draft and review pleadings, briefs, interrogatories, and other legal documents. Prepare formal correspondence to opposing counsel and other parties. Attend and conduct depositions, hearings, and mediations as required. Analyze insurance policies, draft coverage opinions, and provide coverage recommendations. Conduct complex legal research and analysis, and draft memoranda. Requirements Admitted to practice in Florida. 4 to 6 years of experience, with commercial litigation or insurance coverage litigation experience preferred. Experience or interest in working on complex insurance coverage matters. Excellent legal research, writing, and verbal communication skills. Exceptional attention to detail. Strong organizational and time management skills. Education Excellent academic credentials. Certifications Admitted to practice in Florida.
