Join us in our mission to improve health and improve lives. Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomy Supervisor to join our team in Newark, NJ. (covering Essex county) Work Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:00am-4:30pm, additional days and hours may be required Job Responsibilities: * Supervise a team of (+25) phlebotomists working in Patient Service Centers and/or physician's offices * Manage patient flow, wait times, and inventory levels and information logs * Monitor monthly productivity and report any deviations as necessary * Coordinate phlebotomists' schedules through resourceful and creative thinking * Perform operational duties such as payroll, monthly schedules and performance appraisals * Partner with Human Resources regarding employee relations issues and disciplinary actions * Hire and train phlebotomists to fill any open positions * Communicate effectively to internal and external customers including patients, client office staff, sales team, logistics and senior management * Provide exceptional customer service to all patients and clients * Assist in the set-up of new Patient Service Centers or Client Offices * Provide resolution of any patient or client issues * Perform, collect and prepare specimens when needed * Travel to additional sites as necessary Minimum Qualifications: * 1 year or more as a supervisor or leader of direct reports * 5 years or more experience as a phlebotomist Preferred Qualifications: * 2 years or more as a supervisor or leader of direct reports * 6 years or more experience as a phlebotomist Additional Job Standards: * Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service * Strong communication skills; both written and verbal * Ability to work independently or in a team environment * Comfortable working under minimal supervision * Reliable transportation and clean driving record if applicable * Flexibility to work overtime as needed * Able to pass a standardized color blindness test * Be at least 21 years' old * Valid Driver's License and clean driving record Are you seeking an opportunity that makes a difference? Salary Range: $54,000 - $75,000 per year All job offers will be based on a candidate's skills and prior relevant experience, applicable degrees/certifications, as well as internal equity and market data Phlebotomist's may be eligible for participation in the PST Incentive Plan, which pays a quarterly bonus based on performance metrics Benefits: Employees regularly scheduled to work 20 or more hours per week are eligible for comprehensive benefits including: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, STD/LTD, 401(k), Paid Time Off (PTO) or Flexible Time Off (FTO), Tuition Reimbursement and Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
