Waterloo, IA Hematology & Oncology EMR: Epic Locum Physician Opportunity

Full-time schedule. Established cancer program. Excellent support staff and manageable patient volumes.

We're seeking a Board Certified Hematology & Oncology Physician for a locum opportunity in Waterloo, Iowa, providing outpatient oncology and hematology care within a well-supported clinic environment.

Monday Thursday (Full-Time Preferred) Clinic Hours: 8:00 AM 4:30 PM Approximately 16 shifts per month 8-hour shifts

Potentially one weeknight call rotation and one weekend per month Phone call coverage only Hospital consults are rare and infrequent

2 Advanced Practice Providers Dedicated nursing support (2 nurses per provider) Referral and triage nurse support Social worker, dietitian, laboratory, and referral services onsite Inpatient consults only when necessary Clinic volume: 1620 patients per day Average inpatient census: 02 patients daily Adult patient population (18+)

New patient consultations Follow-up care Hematology and Oncology treatment management Oversight of antineoplastic therapy administration Coordination of multidisciplinary cancer care

Antineoplastic Therapy Phlebotomy Services IV IgG Treatments Iron Infusion Therapy Bone Marrow Biopsies

Four-day work week Phone-only call coverage Strong multidisciplinary support team Established Hematology & Oncology practice Epic EMR system Teaching opportunities available Minimal inpatient responsibilities

Board Certified in Hematology & Oncology required Board Certified in Oncology with strong Hem/Onc experience will be considered Fellowship Trained in Hematology & Oncology required Active Iowa License or Active IMLC required Must be available full-time MondayThursday Experienced physicians highly preferred (new graduates will also be considered) Clean malpractice and background history required Self-Query NPDB required at presentation
