Physician Assistant - Medical Staff - Full time

We are currently hiring for a full time Physician Assistant within the Medical Staff department here at Aspen Valley Health.

Compensation Range:
$118,000.00 - $195,000.00

The compensation range listed is an estimate. Final compensation will be determined based on your qualifications including years of experience performing similar work, level of formal education in a relevant field of study, and any professional certifications related to the position.

Requirements:

Minimum Qualifications & Requirements

• Master's degree in Physician Assistant studies or Nursing (MSN)
• Unrestricted license to practice as a Physician Assistant (PA) or Nurse Practitioner (CNP) in the State of Colorado, or ability to obtain prior to start date
• Unrestricted DEA permit to prescribe all medications commonly prescribed in the course of practice.
• Physician Assistant Certification (PA-C) or Nurse Practitioner Certification (FNP-BC)
• Basic Life Support (BLS). May be obtained upon hire.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
• Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS)

Preferred Qualifications

• Doctorate in Nursing preferred (DNP)
• Experience with EPIC preferred
• Orthopedic experience preferred
• Bilingual in Spanish preferred

Position Overview:
The APP provides age and specialty specific appropriate medical care at the level of training achieved and within accepted standards of practice. Performs patient and family assessment and problem identification, plans care accordingly, implements, and evaluates plan of care so that problems are resolved. Provides professional medical care for patients under the supervision of a physician
