Make a positive impact as a school-based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC) supporting students near Vero Beach, FL. Contract positions are available, each focused at a single school location with rewarding, collaborative opportunities alongside experienced colleagues.

Current assignments include:

• K-8 campus (MAT leave: Oct. 5–Dec. 18): Work with a diverse caseload, including multiple ASD units. Join another SLP already onsite.
• High school setting (MAT leave: Sept.–Oct. 20): Oversee a high school caseload and collaborate with an SLPA present two days per week.

Positions offer a consistent 35-hour workweek (7 hours/day, Monday–Friday), making it easy to plan your schedule and maintain work–life balance.

Desired qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Active FL SLP licensure (CCC required)
• Experience working with school-age children, including those with autism spectrum disorders or high school students, is preferred
• Excellent communication, teamwork, and documentation skills
• Flexibility to adapt to new settings and short-term coverage needs
• Ability to provide engaging onsite therapy and consultation for students, staff, and families

Key responsibilities:

• Deliver direct speech-language therapy to students based on IEPs
• Complete evaluations, progress monitoring, and required documentation
• Collaborate with other professionals onsite and participate in IEP meetings as needed
• Provide support and guidance to staff and families regarding communication needs

Additional details:

• Placement follows a time-sensitive credentialing process, including a background check (district fingerprints—which may be expedited if previously recorded in the AHCA Clearinghouse)
• On-site presence is required (teletherapy is not offered)
