Job Title: Psychiatrist
Pay rate: $170/hr. - $200/hr. on w2 (Negotiable)
Locations: St. Louis MO 63139
Shift: 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. (M-F)
Duration: 3 months to long term
Hours/week: 40 Hours/week

Position Overview:
The Psychiatrist will provide comprehensive psychiatric care to approximately 24 clients on Ward E, part of the Forensic Rehabilitation Program (FRP) at FTC. Ward E serves clients with serious mental illnesses and antisocial traits, with an average length of stay of four to five years. The Psychiatrist will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary treatment team to deliver high‑quality care and documentation.

Key Responsibilities:
Provide psychiatric care for approximately 24 clients on Ward E.
Collaborate with a team including a psychologist, two social workers, a dietician, a rehabilitation therapist, and a pharmacist.
Enter medical record documentation as required:
Admission Note within 60 hours of client admission.
Weekly Notes for the first eight weeks, then Monthly Notes thereafter.
Discharge Summary within 30 days of client discharge.
Participate in FTC’s Client Work Program (CWP) support as needed.
Attend FTC orientation and training sessions during daytime hours.
Maintain compliance with all clinical, ethical, and regulatory standards.

Qualifications:
Current license to practice psychiatry in Missouri.
Current Missouri Bureau of Narcotics and Dangerous Drugs (BNDD) registration.
Current Missouri Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) registration.
Strong clinical documentation and communication skills.
Ability to work effectively within a collaborative, multidisciplinary team.
