Exciting Opportunity for Trauma Level 1 Night RN!

Job Description:


- Join a dynamic team in an active Emergency Department and Trauma Unit!
- Shifts: 12-hour nights with 2 weekends every 4 weeks and holidays as needed.
- Unit Highlights:
- Acute Care: 36 beds & Subacute Care: 54 beds
- 6 Trauma bays (Note: No travelers in trauma bays)
- High volume with 88,000 patients annually (250-300 daily)
- Essential Qualifications:
- Minimum of 6 months of Trauma Level 1 experience
- Required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS
- Preferred Certifications: TNCC, ATCN (ENPC not accepted for PALS replacement)
- Patient Ratios: 1:4
- Technologies Used:
- EMR: Cerner
- Telemetry: Phillips monitors (must be able to read strips)
- Responsibilities:
- Complete SIMs Lab for Foley catheter insertion & central line dressing changes
- Participate in lifts, restraints, & wound care education
- Float Policy:
- May float between facilities within a 50-mile radius
- Must possess own vehicle for travel
- Additional Requirements:
- Must pass DYS exam prior to acceptance (up to 2 attempts)
- Natural hair color and no facial piercings required
- Men must be clean-shaven for fit test
- Orientation:
- 2-3 shifts on the floor for comprehensive training
