Certified Pharmacy Technician

Adecco Healthcare & Life Sciences is hiring a Certified Pharmacy Technician in Anaheim, California! This role is in person / on site. Please read below and apply with an updated resume for consideration:

Type: Contract to hire!

Schedule: 2:30pm to 11pm, Rotating Days Off: Month 1 — Off Wednesday/Thursday | Month 2 — Off Sunday/Monday

Pay: $24 per hour

Location: Anaheim, CA 92801

Responsibilities of the Pharmacy Technician:

• Accurately create and maintain patient profiles in the pharmacy electronic records system

• Enter prescription information with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail

• Verify patient demographics, insurance information, and other required data

• Communicate with healthcare providers and internal teams to obtain missing information when necessary

• Maintain compliance with HIPAA regulations and company policies regarding patient confidentiality

• Handle a high volume of data entry tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment

• Collaborate with team members and departments to resolve patient profile or prescription issues

Qualifications:

• Active California Pharmacy Technician License required

• Long-Term Care (LTC) pharmacy experience preferred

• IV pharmacy experience preferred

• Experience entering prescriptions in an LTC pharmacy setting required

• Previous experience in a pharmacy data intake role preferred

• Strong data entry and organizational skills

• Pharmacy software and systems experience is a plus

• Excellent communication and multitasking abilities

• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment

Pay Details: $22.00 to $24.00 per hour
