This is a high-level procurement role for someone who knows how to operate independently, think strategically, and move quickly in a fast-paced industrial environment.

You won’t just be placing orders—you’ll be owning procurement for complex electrical projects , working directly from engineered drawings and BOMs, negotiating vendor agreements, and making real-time decisions that impact cost, timelines, and project success.

What You’ll Be Doing

You’ll run procurement end-to-end, from interpreting project requirements to ensuring materials are delivered on time.

• Analyze engineered drawings, spec sheets, and one-line diagrams to source materials
• Take full ownership of project Bills of Materials (BOMs)
• Execute direct buys, contract buys, and establish supplier agreements
• Negotiate pricing, delivery timelines, and contract terms (including SPAs)
• Manage procurement across multiple active projects simultaneously
• Act quickly to address urgent or changing project needs
• Maintain strong vendor relationships within oil & gas and power distribution sectors
• Aggressively track orders and expedite materials to meet deadlines
• Troubleshoot supply chain challenges and implement solutions
• (Bonus) Support logistics and material movement to job sites, including remote locations

What We’re Looking For

This role is built for someone who is confident, experienced, and comfortable running with minimal direction.

• 5+ years of procurement experience in industrial electrical contracting
• Strong background in oil & gas, power distribution, or similar industries
• Ability to read and interpret:
  • Engineered drawings
  • Technical spec sheets
  • One-line diagrams
• Proven experience negotiating contracts and vendor agreements (SPAs)
• Self-driven and comfortable owning projects independently
• Strong ability to pivot quickly and handle changing priorities
• Highly organized with a strong sense of urgency
