Commercial Electrician, Commercial Construction
Irwindale, CA | Full-Time | Some Travel

 
LOOKING FOR MORE THAN THE TYPICAL ELECTRICAL JOB?
We’re hiring a Commercial Electrician to join a specialty construction team based in Irwindale, CA

 
This is a hands-on role for an electrician who enjoys troubleshooting, building, and working on unique projects. You’ll perform electrical installation and troubleshooting while also working alongside other skilled trades on specialized construction and equipment installations

 
WHAT YOU’LL DO:

• Install, terminate, connect, and troubleshoot electrical wiring and components
• Install conduit, cable, junction boxes, disconnects, panels, fixtures, and electrical equipment
• Read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, plans, and specifications
• Assist with electrical testing, troubleshooting, repairs, and system commissioning
• Identify electrical issues and help determine corrective action
• Work alongside welders, fabricators, technicians, and other skilled trades
• Assist with the assembly and installation of specialty structures and equipment
• Use hand tools, power tools, measuring equipment, and construction equipment
• Follow electrical codes, project specifications, and job-site safety requirements
• Maintain tools, equipment, and a safe, organized work area

 
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:

• Previous electrical experience in commercial, industrial, construction, or specialty environments
• Working knowledge of electrical wiring, conduit, panels, and components
• Ability to read electrical drawings and construction plans
• Experience using hand and power tools
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
• Comfortable working from ladders, lifts, and elevated work areas
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
• Valid driver’s license
• Safety-focused approach to your work
• Ability and willingness to travel based on project needs

 
Electrical trade school, apprenticeship, fabrication, welding, mechanical, or industrial experience is a plus.

 
TRAVEL & WORK ENVIRONMENT:

• Some projects require domestic and occasional international travel , including work at remote or specialized project sites
• This is an active, field-based position. You should be comfortable working outdoors, at heights, around construction equipment, and in varying job-site conditions
