Be CALM Program Manager – FPG Child Development Inst Position Summary This position may be eligible for a hybrid work arrangement that may include a partially remote work location, consistent with System Office policy. UNC Chapel Hill employees are generally required to reside within a reasonable commuting distance of their assigned duty station. This position will direct and manage all program implementation activities for the Be CALM team across several federally funded projects. Work will include supervising UNC trainers who are delivering professional development and providing implementation support to educators across the state; designing and developing materials and resources for these activities based on the literature, best practice, and consultation with national experts; overseeing continuous quality improvement efforts based on implementation and outcome data; and leading networking efforts to grow the program through ongoing collaboration with state and district educational leaders. Minimum Education And Experience Requirements Bachelor’s degree and three years of experience in the area of assignment, of which at least one is supervisory or in a lead-worker capacity; or an equivalent combination of training and experience. All degrees must be received from appropriately accredited institutions. Management Preferences Experience consulting with K12 educators around student social-emotional and mental health. Experience developing and delivering professional development programs with educators. Experience promoting mindfulness-based programs in schools. Clinical mental health training.
