Maintenance Technician

The Maintenance Technician will be required to perform building maintenance and other duties assigned at all D-Patrick locations.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following.

• Removes old paint coating, if necessary.
• Performs building exterior and interior caulking, finish repair, med and tape, and texturing tasks.
• Applies paints, sealers, and solvents to exterior and interior building surfaces such as plaster, sheetrock, concrete, and wood.
• Operates equipment such as airless spray equipment, scaffolding, and motorized lifts.
• Assures safety standards are used which comply with all company, local, city, state, and federal guidelines.
• Ensures compliance of all work-related activities in a fair, ethical, and consistent manner.
• Requires being at work on time and having satisfactory attendance.
• Responsible for the completion of all maintenance service requests as assigned.
• Maintain inventory levels in company supply room.
• Run company errands as needed.
• Monitor and maintain all building systems as assigned.
• Responsible for reporting of any unusual occurrence and/or damage that may have taken place or that may occur.
• Assure safety standards are used which comply with all company, local, city, state, and federal guidelines.
• Maintain a professional courteous manner with all customers, vendors, contractors, and fellow employees.
• Any other duties assigned by management.

Individual must have general maintenance skills, basic computer knowledge, and ability to work well with others, neat and clean appearance, good math skills, and positive attitude and be able to listen and follow directions. Individual should perform duties with little or to no supervision, read and comprehend instructions and information. Individual should be honest, ethical, dependable and a team player.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

High school diploma or equivalent. Three to five years of maintenance experience required.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS

Valid Driver's License and clean driving record.
