Phlebotomist

Labcorp is seeking a phlebotomist to join our team in Raleigh, NC . Work Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm Job Responsibilities Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups. Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc. Perform data entry of patient information accurately and timely. Process billing information and collect payments when required. Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis. Maintain patient and specimen information logs. Provide superior customer service to all patients. Perform administrative and clerical duties as necessary. Travel to additional sites when needed. Execute other duties as assigned. We are currently seeking a Phlebotomist to work in a Patient Service Center . In this role you will provide exceptional customer service, perform skilled specimen collections, and be the face of the company. Incentives The PST may be eligible for participation in the PST Incentive Plan, which pays a quarterly bonus based on performance metrics. Employees scheduled to work a 7 on/7 off schedule are eligible to receive all the foregoing benefits except PTO or FTO. Minimum Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. Phlebotomy certification or completion of a Phlebotomy training program, or 6 months’ or more experience as a phlebotomist. Preferred Qualifications 1 year or more of phlebotomy experience. Additional Job Standards In lieu of work experience, a Phlebotomy certification or completed training program from an accredited agency. Able to pass a standardized color blindness test. Flexibility to work overtime as needed. Exceptional customer service. Strong communication skills; both written and verbal. Ability to work independently or in a team environment.
