I've been with State Farm for 35 years, serving in management roles and as an agent in Pennsylvania before opening this office. That depth of experience has shaped the way I lead and support our team.

I studied Marine Biology at East Stroudsburg University and have always loved fishing. I'm married with four children, and family has always been a central part of my life. That same commitment to teamwork and support carries into our office culture.

ROLE DESCRIPTION: Jeff Thummel - State Farm Agent is a leading insurance agency dedicated to providing exceptional service to our customers. We are currently seeking a dynamic individual to join our team as a Receptionist - State Farm Agent Team Member.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Greet customers warmly in person and over the phone, directing them to the appropriate team members.
• Manage appointment scheduling and office communications.
• Assist in handling incoming inquiries and maintaining customer records.
• Engage in conversations with prospective and existing customers, identifying opportunities to offer insurance options.
• Provide excellent customer service and follow up on customers needs.
• Support the team with various administrative tasks and projects.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Previous experience in a receptionist or customer service role.
• Communication and interpersonal skills.
• Organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Comfortable with engaging in sales conversations.
• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office and CRM systems.

Compensation: $35,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
