The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, comfortable managing multiple priorities, and genuinely enjoys working with clients. Responsibilities Record and maintain daily financial transactions for multiple client organizations Reconcile bank, credit card, and loan accounts Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable Prepare and post journal entries and maintain accurate general ledgers Prepare monthly financial statements and management reports Support budgeting, cash flow monitoring, audits, and tax preparation Assist with payroll preparation and payroll reporting requirements Coordinate with payroll providers as needed Research and resolve accounting discrepancies Maintain accounting records and accounting software, including QuickBooks Online Prepare financial and management reports for clients, leadership, and boards Communicate directly with clients regarding financial information, reporting, and accounting needs Provide general administrative and financial support, including expense reporting and budget oversight Participate in client meetings and present financial information when needed Maintain accurate, confidential financial records and handle sensitive information appropriately Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and client service Support special events, meetings, training, and other organizational activities as needed Qualifications 3–5 years of professional accounting experience Nonprofit accounting experience strongly preferred Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred Proficiency with accounting software; QuickBooks Online experience preferred Strong Microsoft Excel skills Experience with general ledger, reconciliations, AP/AR, and financial reporting Strong organizational and time-management skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong attention to detail and analytical ability Ability to work independently while also collaborating with a team Comfortable managing multiple client relationships and competing deadlines Supervisory experience is a plus CPA certification is a plus, but not required Why Join Us?
