Broken Arrow, Oklahoma Contract To Hire Sep 14, 2026 A well-established manufacturing company in Broken Arrow is seeking an experienced CPA/Accountant to join its team at the beginning of the year. This is a key position within the organization and will be heavily focused on accounting, financial accuracy, reporting, and compliance, while also supporting several human resources and administrative functions. The ideal candidate will be a highly detail-oriented accounting professional who takes ownership of their work, understands the importance of accuracy and deadlines, and is comfortable wearing multiple hats within a growing manufacturing environment. Key Responsibilities

Accounting & Financial Management
Manage and oversee day-to-day accounting activities and financial records.
Maintain accurate general ledger accounts and supporting documentation.
Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial statements.
Manage account reconciliations and ensure discrepancies are researched and resolved.
Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
Assist with budgeting, forecasting, cash-flow monitoring, and financial analysis.
Maintain accurate fixed-asset records and depreciation schedules.
Review financial transactions for accuracy, proper classification, and compliance.
Develop and maintain strong internal accounting controls.
Identify discrepancies, unusual transactions, and opportunities to improve accounting processes.
Work closely with company leadership to provide accurate financial information for business decisions.

CPA, Tax & Compliance
Ensure accounting practices comply with applicable GAAP standards and company policies.
Coordinate and assist with federal, state, and local tax reporting and filings.
Support annual tax preparation and year-end financial requirements.
Coordinate with external accountants, auditors, tax professionals, and other financial partners as needed.
Maintain organized financial documentation and records for audits and regulatory requirements.
Monitor accounting and tax requirements to help ensure continued company compliance.

Human Resources & Administration
Support employee onboarding and offboarding processes.
Maintain accurate and confidential employee records.
Assist with payroll administration and payroll-related accounting.
Support benefits administration and employee documentation.
Assist leadership with HR policies, procedures, and compliance requirements.
Help ensure required employment documentation and company records remain current and organized.
Serve as an internal resource for employees regarding basic payroll, benefits, and HR-related questions.

Qualifications
Active CPA license strongly preferred. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required. Strong accounting background with experience managing or overseeing financial operations. Solid understanding of GAAP, financial reporting, reconciliations, and accounting controls. Experience with tax preparation, CPA compliance, audits, or regulatory reporting. Previous HR, payroll, benefits, or employee-administration experience is highly preferred. Manufacturing accounting experience is a plus. Strong proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Excel. Ability to handle confidential financial and employee information appropriately.
