Staff Accountant

Staff AccountantTulsa, Oklahoma, United StatesSBCS is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our client's growing team. The Staff Accountant will be responsible for assisting with the day-to-day accounting functions and supporting the financial operations of our company. This is a full-time, permanent position that offers opportunities for growth and advancement within the company.Key Responsibilities:Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statementsAssist with month-end and year-end close processesReconcile bank and credit card statementsPrepare journal entries and maintain general ledger accountsProcess accounts payable and accounts receivable transactionsAssist with budgeting and forecasting activitiesConduct variance analysis and provide explanations for budget variancesAssist with annual audits and tax filingsMaintain accurate and organized financial recordsSupport the preparation of financial reports for management and clientsCollaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial dataContinuously identify and implement process improvements to streamline accounting operationsQualifications:Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field2+ years of experience in accounting or financeCPA certification is preferredStrong understanding of GAAP principlesProficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (Quickbooks, NetSuite, etc.)Excellent analytical and problem-solving skillsStrong attention to detail and accuracyAbility to work independently and in a team environmentExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsPrior experience in a consulting firm is a plusJoin our team and be a part of a dynamic and innovative company that is dedicated to making a positive impact on our clients' businesses.
