As a Security Officer Full Time Perimeter Patrol in West Sacramento, CA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and report security-related concerns. You will support a welcoming environment through exceptional customer service and clear communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Respond to incidents, critical situations, and transportation-related disruptions in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and document observations according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of loading docks, trailer yards, parking areas, access points, offices, and the business perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to the facility by checking credentials, observing visitor and driver activity, and following established entry and exit procedures.
• Report hazards, damaged fencing, unsecured doors, suspicious activity, and other security-related concerns to site leadership or Allied Universal management.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least two years of security-related experience.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• A valid guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
