Position Type Part Time Pay Rate $20.10 / Hour Job Schedule Day Time Mon 08:00 AM - 12:00 PM Tue 08:00 AM - 12:00 PM Sat 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM Sun 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM What You'll Do Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and members of the public while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a government location. Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, and problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns to site contacts and/or local authorities when appropriate. Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unwanted activity and identify unusual conditions. Monitor access points and public areas, verify authorized entry when required, and provide directions or assistance in accordance with site rules and posted procedures. Support daily operations by preparing reports, maintaining accurate activity logs, and communicating clearly with supervisors, site personnel, and/or emergency responders as needed. Minimum Requirements A guard card/license is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
