Title: Project Manager

Reports to: Field Superintendent

Salary: $75-85,000 per year + generous quarterly bonus incentive

Position Summary

The Project Manager is responsible for managing roofing and exterior projects across both residential and commercial clients—from project kickoff through final completion. This role combines project execution with revenue generation, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget while also driving new business and customer satisfaction. The Project Manager serves as the primary point of contact for clients, subcontractors, and internal teams, playing a critical role in both operational excellence and company growth.

Key Responsibilities

Project Management & Execution

• Oversee residential and commercial roofing and exterior projects from kickoff through completion.
• Ensure projects are completed on schedule, within budget, and in alignment with company quality standards.
• Proactively identify risks, solve problems, and maintain project momentum.

Field Operations Coordination

• Manage subcontractor crews on-site, ensuring productivity, quality, and adherence to project plans.
• Coordinate materials, schedules, and logistics with internal teams.
• Ensure crews are equipped with the resources needed to perform efficiently.
• Identify and address field issues that may impact cost or timeline.
• Coordinate and document change orders with clients and internal teams.

Client Relationship Management

• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the project lifecycle.
• Communicate project updates, timelines, and expectations clearly and consistently.
• Resolve issues quickly and professionally to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.
• Maintain strong relationships with past clients to drive repeat and referral business.
• Identify upsell opportunities on existing projects.
• Generate new business through cloverleafing, leads, referrals, and relationship-building.
• Meet with prospective clients to assess needs, conduct inspections, and prepare estimates.

Safety & Quality Control

• Enforce company policies and OSHA safety standards across all job sites.
• Conduct inspections to ensure workmanship meets Perry’s Roofing installation standards and contract specifications.
• Maintain a strong culture of safety and accountability in the field.

Site Management & Documentation

• Lead initial job site setup including homeowner introduction, material delivery, crew management, and dumpster delivery.
• Conduct regular job site visits and quality control checks.
• Document progress, site conditions, and completed work with photos and detailed notes.
• Maintain accurate records in company systems for project tracking and reporting.

Qualifications

• Experience in roofing, construction, or exterior services (residential and/or commercial)
• Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects at once
• Excellent communication and customer relationship management abilities
• Knowledge of OSHA standards and job site safety practices
