The Role
Were hiring a Collections Specialist to support accounts receivable and reduce outstanding balances across an established client base. This role combines collections, customer service, and problem-solving, and is ideal for someone who can manage accounts while maintaining strong client relationships.
What Youll Do
- Manage AR aging and follow up on delinquent accounts
- Make outbound collection calls and send professional email communications
- Resolve billing issues and customer disputes
- Maintain detailed account notes and collection activity
- Identify root causes of delinquency and escalate when needed
- Track payment arrangements and ensure follow-through
- Collaborate internally to resolve discrepancies
- Support reporting and monitoring of assigned accounts
What Were Looking For
- 23 years of collections or related experience
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Detail-oriented with solid problem-solving ability
- Comfortable working independently in a fast-paced environment
- Proficient in Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Experience with systems like PeopleSoft, NetSuite, or similar
Preferred
- B2B collections experience
- Associate degree (or higher) in Business or related field
- ERP experience (PeopleSoft, NetSuite, Sage)
