TV Development Executive

Alcon Entertainment, a leading Film and TV production studio and finance company, known for producing Blade Runner 2049, Book of Eli, The Blind Side, The Expanse, and the upcoming series BLADE RUNNER 2099, POINT BREAK and FIRST WOMAN, among others, is seeking a highly motivated and creative  TV Development Executive . This is not a remote work from home position, must be based in Los Angeles County or willing to relocate.

Ideal candidate should have 3+ years of Creative Executive, Director or VP experience in television drama and/or comedy development and production. Must have solid knowledge and passion of the television marketplace, both domestically and globally. Would have very strong connections with managers/agents/producers/talent and access to projects and pitches, with a strong hunger to source original ideas/sourcing IP and arenas for development. Will need to help manage multiple aspects of developing scripted series for streaming, broadcast, and cable television. Helps oversee writer/development deals and provides creative feedback during the pitch or development process and ongoing production of series. Strong ability in putting together pitch/package presentations for buyers. Candidate needs to be a highly effective communicator, both verbally and digitally, able to work under strict time constraints and deadlines, and will perform other duties as assigned.
