Systems Engineer Junior - SFRC

Job Summary Amentum is seeking a Systems Engineer Junior to support the Space Force Range Contract. Typical Duties Focus on one or more of the following Systems Engineering Functional Areas (Testing, Requirements Analysis, Integration, Specialty Engineering, and Systems Architecture) Develop, implement, and maintain developmental and operational acceptance test plans, procedures and reports Assist team on moderately complex projects or phases of significant projects; coordinate technical support staff in the performance of assigned projects Analyze and resolve program support deficiencies Assist in design and requirements development/verification process Identify system architecture needs and assist in development of enterprise architecture items to be produced in support of assigned projects such as DODAF drawing generation Ensure the as-designed system requirements allocated to the project meet Safety Hazard requirements and develop associated analyses, as required Assist in developing and implementing training tools and documentation Other duties as assigned Minimum Requirements Bachelor’s degree in aerospace engineering or related STEM field 0‑2 years experience in systems engineering (Requirements, Test, specialty engineering, or Systems Architecture) or related engineering field Fundamental knowledge of engineering lifecycle and systems engineering processes Experience working with Windows‑based computer systems, components, and Office tool suite Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Security Clearance, which includes U.S. citizenship Valid U.S. Driver’s License Salary and Other Compensation The annual starting salary for this position is between $80,000 – $90,000 annually. The position may be eligible for bonus or long-term incentive compensation awards.
