Registered Nurse Opportunity in Des Moines, IA

Specialty: Med Surg

Position Type: Travel

Contract Duration: 13 weeks

Compensation: $2649 - $3192

Shift: 4x12 Nights

Key Responsibilities

Deliver outstanding nursing care to patients recovering from surgeries, including hip/knee replacements, mastectomies, and abdominal procedures.
Administer medications and manage intravenous drips, such as PCA and Heparin.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to create and execute patient care plans.
Utilize EPIC EMR for precise documentation and effective patient management.
Be prepared to float across various campuses as required.

Qualifications

A minimum of 2 years of experience in a clinical setting.
Active RN license in Iowa or a compact/multistate license.
BLS certification from AHA or ARC is mandatory.
Experience with PCA and Heparin drips is essential.
COVID-19 vaccination is required (medical and religious exemptions may be considered).

Working Conditions

This position involves working night shifts and may require flexibility to float between different facilities.
