Schedule & Commitment

• Part-time, independent contractor position
• Locations: Passaic & Bergen County
• Thursday Workshop - flexibility if shifted to another weekday
• Shift options : Preference to cover both shifts
  9:00 AM – 2:30 PM and/or 5:00 PM – 9:00 PM

Compensation

• $25 per hour
• Paid as an independent contractor (1099)

Job Description:
We are seeking a reliable and personable Event Support Associate to support our weekly in-person estate planning workshops. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys events, interacting with people, and supporting light sales efforts in a warm, professional way.

The associate will assist with event setup and breakdown, manage guest check-in, and help create a welcoming experience for attendees. At the conclusion of the workshop, this role will support soft sales efforts by encouraging guests to sign up for a strategy session.

Key Responsibilities:

Event Coordination & On-Site Execution

• Assist with workshop setup and breakdown (signage, printed materials, displays, and projector/AV equipment)
• Manage guest check-in and registration upon arrival
• Comfortable with light manual labor lifting boxes
• Provide a friendly, professional point of contact for attendees
• Support the host throughout the workshop as needed

Attendee Engagement

• Engage with workshop attendees at the conclusion of each event
  Answer basic questions and provide a welcoming, professional experience

• Drive sign-ups for paid strategy sessions through warm, conversational interactions
