Job Title: Painter Helper
Pay: $18.00/hour
Hours: Monday - Friday, 7:00AM - 3:30PM (Must be available for overtime)
Start Date: ASAP

As a Painter Helper, you'll support experienced painters with project preparation, material handling, and job site organization. You'll work closely with the painting team to deliver quality results on a variety of projects, helping you build a solid foundation for a long-term career in construction and painting.


What You'll Do
As a Painter Helper, you will be responsible for:

• Assist with preparing surfaces by sanding, patching, caulking, and cleaning.
• Help protect surrounding areas with drop cloths, masking, and coverings.
• Load, unload, and transport painting materials, tools, and equipment.
• Assist painters with interior and exterior residential and commercial painting projects.
• Clean and maintain tools, equipment, and work areas.
• Support job site setup and cleanup activities.
• Follow safety procedures and maintain a safe work environment.
• Perform general labor tasks as directed by the painting crew.

What You'll Bring
The ideal candidate for this role will have:

• A willingness to learn and take direction from experienced painters.
• Comfort working on ladders and a commitment to workplace safety.
• A valid driver's license and reliable transportation to access multiple job sites.
• The physical ability to lift and carry equipment and materials up to 50 pounds.
• Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail.
• Good communication skills and a positive, team-oriented attitude.
• Previous construction, painting, landscaping, or general labor experience is a plus but not required.

Location & Schedule
This temp-to-hire, on-site position works at residential and commercial job sites throughout Lane County, OR. Standard hours are Monday through Friday, 7:00AM to 3:30PM, with mandatory overtime as needed.
