ADON (Assistant Director of Nursing) in Assisted Living

Lutheran Home & Health Services, an Illuminus Community, is looking for an ADON to join their Assisted Living community. We have been a part of the local community caring for the families of Fond du Lac and the surrounding area since 1936. Conveniently located in the heart of downtown Fond du Lac, Lutheran Homes & Health Services provides assisted living, skilled nursing and short-term rehab services to older adults.

Position details:

• Full-time, Day Shift
• Working within our Assisted Living community
• On call rotation shared with other nurse leadership
• Salaried with Benefits
• $83k-100k
• RN license required

ADON responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Assist in planning, organizing and directing nursing service.
• Control and evaluation of nursing service in order to meet the total nursing needs of the resident and maintain a quality of service that will fulfill the objective of the nursing home, and be in accordance with the policies set forth by the nursing home.
• Supervise care and management of shift.
• Plan and participate in in-service training and orientation programs.
• Coordinate the care planning program.

Requirements:

• Registered Nurse license in the State of Wisconsin
• Knowledge and/or experience in geriatrics
• Supervisory experience preferred
• Knowledge and/or experience with state and federal regulations
