Must-Have: Open book EKG test required at orientation

Description: This position offers an auto offer with minimal RTO and an ASAP start. Weekly orientation is provided, and shorter contracts are accepted. The unit cares for patients with infectious diseases, hospice/palliative care, oncology, cardiac acute care, post-surgical care, bariatric, urology, neurology, and orthopedics. The candidate must be willing to float to other locations. The unit is equipped to care for telemetry-monitored patients, with a staffing ratio of 1:6. The facility has interdisciplinary support, including IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, and pharmacy. Candidates must demonstrate a strong skill set, including managing ports, blood product administration, chest tube management, and interpreting dysrhythmias. All applicants must have experience with high-flow nasal cannula and non-invasive airway management. Wound care skills, phlebotomy, and pre/post-hemodialysis management are also required. The candidate should have experience working in environments that require using rapid response teams. This role requires 12 weekend shifts per contract, with coverage every other weekend. Blocked scheduling will not be accommodated. All prospective candidates must have a supervisory reference. Travelers with only one DUI on record may be considered, provided the incident occurred one year or more prior.
