We are currently seeking a reliable and skilled Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our PRN team, providing weekend support to our residents. Why Join Us? Competitive PRN Pay: $40 per hour Flexible Weekend Hours: 4 to 5 hours over the weekend, easily fitting your schedule Supportive Environment: Work alongside a dedicated multidisciplinary healthcare team Job Responsibilities: Provide direct patient care and occupational therapy interventions under the direction of a Registered Occupational Therapist (OTR) Assist residents with essential activities of daily living (ADLs) and functional mobility Safely execute and assist with patient transfers and positioning Deliver impactful education and training to facility staff, family members, and caregivers to ensure continuity of care Accurately document resident progress and treatments in accordance with facility and regulatory guidelines Qualifications & Skills: Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program Current, unrestricted COTA license in the state of Pennsylvania Experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) or long-term care setting preferred Strong communication skills for effective staff and family education Ability to safely perform patient transfers and physical components of the role Work with Us: As a valued member of our team, you will be part of a dynamic organization that is committed to excellence in patient care and staff development.
