Rite Wrench, located in Fort Lauderdale, FL, is seeking a skilled full-time Diesel/Truck Service Writer to join our dedicated team. This consistent weekday schedule allows for a stable work-life balance.YOUR ROLE:As an Diesel/Truck Service Writer, you will oversee customer requests from the initial inquiry through completion. Your responsibilities will include confirming equipment availability with customers, sourcing, receiving, and returning parts necessary for each job, and scheduling technicians to open jobs. You will maintain professional communication with customers throughout the service process, create and send accurate estimates, and ensure that all work is performed in accordance with safety standards and company policies. Additionally, you will maintain precise records of repairs performed, parts used, and labor hours for each job, ensuring all documentation is complete and accurate.OUR REQUIREMENTS:5+ years of experience in similar roles and mechanic service environmentsExcellent customer service skills for positive client interactionStrong organizational skills and ability to follow proceduresExperience working with shop management software and sourcing partsProficiency in diesel mechanical knowledge, diagnostics, and repair techniques for various vehicles, including trucks and heavy equipmentFluent in Spanish and EnglishAbility to multitaskStrong mechanical knowledgeFamiliarity with operating trucks and heavy equipment (preferred)JOIN USRite Wrench is a rapidly growing diesel repair shop in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, known for honesty and reliability.
