TL;DR Role: Full Time Type: Full-time Team: Purchasing Department Mission: To manage project bids, maintain scopes of work, and track changes to ensure cost-effective procurement for new homebuilding projects. What You’ll Actually Do Bid Management: Solicit bids for new projects and spread revised bids to obtain necessary approvals for price increases. Subcontractor Relations: Pre-qualify subcontractors and maintain scopes of work. Cost Control: Setup and monitor option costs and sales prices, and maintain and update current project budgets. Financial Analysis: Prepare direct costs analysis and variances for review, and input original Direct Costs budgets. Project Execution: Track blueprints and design changes, execute lot starts, and conduct final proofing of all unit costs. The Must-Haves Background: A Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university, or an equivalent combination of education and related experience. Experience: One to two years of experience in a related field or role.
