Job Details

• Required Qualifications: Current Colorado Registered Nurse (RN) licensure; Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; HWC certification; at least 1 year of experience; completion of required state checks and fingerprinting before the assignment begins.
• Preferred Qualifications: Behavioral health, medical, or dual-diagnosis experience; proficiency with Clinical Institute Withdrawal Assessment (CIWA) and Clinical Opiate Withdrawal Scale (COWS) protocols; strong de-escalation skills.
• Schedule: Night shifts consisting of 12-hour shifts, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Float: Float rotation may be required.
• Additional Information: Provides care for adolescents ages 13–17 and adults ages 18 and older in an acute stabilization behavioral health setting. Typical patient assignments are approximately 1:12 for adolescent, adult mental wellness, and adult acute units, and 1:10 for adult dual-diagnosis and substance use disorder units. The average length of stay is 7–10 days. Navy scrubs are required, and casual wear is not permitted. Orientation occurs every other Monday.
